  • 1993 Honda Civic Ferio JDM

This belongs to a very good friend of mine and is his daily driver. He dropped it off at my house early in the morning to be detailed and drove him to work a mile or two from my house. The paint was in real bad shape not including to bashed driver's side from a hit n' run when he was parked!!! This car corners AND RIDES like its on rails, but the slammed look gives this car a really menacing look!

    Here are some before pics...

Here you can really seen how bad the hood and roof look from years of UV exposure and its former owner keeping it outside. But its current owner baby's this car!!

This is what a brand new portion of clay looked like after cleaning a 6" X 6" area on the hood!!

    And now the money-shots!

Even the spare tire got some love!

Great job! For a 93 Honda, the paint was in pretty good shape. Most Hondas of that vintage are in the death throes of clear coat failure, including my own 93 Civic.

Thanks, CC! The one pic I forgot to take was the sun reflecting off the hood and the interior. The inside of this car is immaculate!!! Were talking eat-you-food-off-the-floor-mat clean.

Here's a link to his 2001 Prelude that's been tricked out! I soooooo want to buy this car!!!

I sure noticed that! I was saying to myself "is that like a photoshop effect?!"

Thanks everyone for all the kind words! I had a question: are rotary polishers prone to "jumping around on the paint" if you are not exact with your position of the pad against the paint? Or is it just my lack of skill? If it's not my lack of skill, does the DA G110 correct this?

Usually it will jump if there is not enough product, improper angle, or too high of speed (Sometimes fresh, dense pads can add to this). You should NOT get hopping or jumping of the pad with proper technique and products.

A G110 would not have that issue because it uses a dual action motion and much lower speeds. I've never even seen a DA polisher hop/jump around.

Awesome! Thanks big time Mark! Now I can justify getting a G110! Besides this polisher I have has too much torque and feels like it was made using granite and iron! Thanks again! That was a burning question I've had for a while.
