Ultimate Compound....Thick? Thin?

I just bought a bottle of Ultimate Compound, got it home and it's about as thick as ranch dressing, pour some on a pad and it runs right away...

Is this good?

My SwirlX is nice and thick.

The UC is consistant, no chunks and I did shake it up.

Hey Aaron,

My Ultimate Compound pours out pretty quick and is a lot less thick than SwirlX. Ultimate Compound dosent seem to thick. I was suprised too when i squeezed some out of the bottle on to my wax pad.

You might want to pick up a bottle of SwirlX while your there too, from my experience these products work really nice together

Yeah, I got some SwirlX as well. It's quite a bit thicker than Ultimate Compound.

Ultimate Compound is supposed to be thinner than SwirlX, so what you're seeing is normal.

could be that way since SwirlX is a cleaner/polish

May be off topic a bit, but is ScratchX 2.0 also a cleaner polish, or just a cleaner?

I kind of like the contrast in consistencies since the bottles look so similar, it makes it less likely to grab the wrong product...or least you should notice your mistake before it hits the paint.

I love UC consistency. Swirl X is so thick I have a hard time getting it out of the bottle.
