  • Will Soft Buff 2.0's be available in other sizes?

Rick at ADS included a Soft Buff 2.0 black finishing pad as a free sample on an order I placed with him a while back. I finally got around to using this pad a couple days ago. I love this pad. I also love the 7" size, as I really don't care for larger pads. However, it seems like I'm always having to put on an LC 4" pad for a few spots on every vehicle I do (A pillars, front ends, rear ends, etc.)

So... I'm at the point where all of my small foam finishing pads need to be replaced. I'd love to buy some small Soft Buff 2.0's, and would be willing to wait a couple more weeks to replace my small pads if Megs will be releasing smaller Soft Buff 2.0's soonish. I would really hate to blow a bunch of cash on 4" LC foam pads just to have Meg's release small Soft Buffs right after.

This should help you place your order; at this time there are no plans to release a 4" pad.

I really wish a 6 inch or 6.5 inch had been chosen.

I find the G110 struggles, to move this (7 inch) pad. When you put on the 6.5 old pads, it feels like a rocket ship taking off.

What kind of backing plate do you guys use with the 4" pads on the DA?

        EDIT: Post #500!!

MIke would you mind sharing why Meg's isn't looking into at least 6.5" pad, if not smaller? I am one of many people I know who hasn't bought the 2.0 pads because of their size, and I know there are even more of us who want smaller than 6.5", like 3-4" pads.

Just curious because there's definitely a huge market for it.

I love Meg's old pads/foam and would love to have some 5-5.5" pads for the G110 instead of using the Lake Cuntry ccs pads.

The best thing to do is for anyone interested in a new product is to start their own new thread in the New Product Suggestions forum or add their vote to an already existing thread for a new product.
