  • couple of quick questions

ok Ive read a lot about removing bugs and tar and wanted some opinions as I'm really jumpy about an abrasive pad.Any help would be appreciated. Also,I got my new DA from ADS and worked my hood over(I should mention I have a black Frontier)with Swirl-X and I must say I am impressed.I still have some deeper scratches that it didn't seem to phase,so should I go with the Ultimate compound or skip to 105?It looks to me like the swirl-X got rid of all the swirls and minor scratches but the deeper ones I thought maybe skip UC and go with 105.thanks for advice again and srry I don't have pictures

Use the least aggressive product to get the job done. Try using Ultimate Compound first since its less aggressive than M105 Ultra Cut Compound.

But I would try Swirl X, and then Ultimate Compound.

If they are too deep, it can be best to just try and improve them.

How many passes did you make with the SwirlX?

I dont think you will have a problem with either product, that is to say going to #105 is almost the same as going to UC.

Whichever you choose, just dont overdo it. Have to do a couple passes, then if they are too deep, they are too deep.
