Amazing work on such a gorgeous beast of a car!!!!!!!! Your work is always incredible from the pictures I see on here. That must be a tricky car to buff out. I can't believe how wet and dark the finish came out.

Tell us your process. I'll take a guess that you used the magical new M105/M205/M21 combo. As 'MaseratiMario' stated, you cut a 1/10th off their track time by making the finish so slick and aerodynamic, LOL.

Fastest production street legal car around the Nürburgring (not counting the legal in Britain only Radical SR8) at 7:22.1, so if you just took a tenth off then this one will run 7:22 dead.

Now all you have to do is let the owner fly you to Germany to test out this theory. Of course, learning 12.9 miles of track with 70+ turns is a wee bit tricky

        Nice work, Nick, as always.

Beautiful car. That ACR is one mean machine. Nice job bringing that paint back to life. That's a huge difference.

Nick, you do amazing work. The car couldn't look wetter if you poured the bucket of paint over it yourself. Bravo, my friend, bravo.

I got that track memorized! 2 years on Grand Turismo 4, and everyone told me I was wasting my time

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Process was M105 on rotary with the purple foam wool.
M205 on rotary with a black finishing pad
Then finished up with FPII(Menzerna) on the rotary with a red LLC finishing pad
Then topped off with Colinite #915

Total time involved was about 20 hours(paint only), over a 2 day period. The hood alone took most of that time

How's that Collinite working out for you as an LSP? Have you tried their 476s (paste) or 845 (liquid)?

Car looks fantastic...and the house looks pretty nice as well

No, this is the first product I've tried from them. So far, I like it. Easy on, easy off. Supposed to be extremely durable, and gives good depth and gloss. One of the biggest problems I run across with wax, is smearing. And I'm on a mission to find a good wax that will not smear

Haven't tried the 915 myself, but I have had really good luck with 476s and 845. The durability is fantastic with Collinite, use it on my Volvo (daily driver) and it sheets water for months.

Can you elaborate on the smearing issue a little bit (via PM is fine)

                            Again, that Viper looks fantastic.

No need for a PM, I have nothing to hide from the masses I just can't seem to apply and remove waxes without smearing. I'm sure it's me and my technique, or maybe the Texas heat, but I have an extremely hard time with it. Most smearing you will not see unless you put a Brinkman on it, and really look closely, but it's there. And anything like this takes away from the overall appearance of the vehicles finish. A wash, or a couple of wipe downs with a Quik Detailing product usually clear everything up. But I'd still like to master wax application so it's 100% perfect after removal.
