I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

        Re: APC or APC+

I use them both, but for different purposes.

APC is great for spot treatments when you are working with a hand-held brush.

APC+ is the fantastic if you are using an extractor or DA carpet brush (my case). Plus, the orange scent is nice.

If I had to choose one of the two, it would be APC+.

            APC+
Like the smell better! I think it has less foam too.
            Both work well though.

My APC+ doesn't seem to smell like oranges .... I wonder why, it just doesn't really smell like much of anything.

APC+ here, just seems to be more versitile to me, plus it smells awesome

I actually have both at the moment but have found myself using APC+ more often

                  Re: APC or APC+

When I purchased my APC, it was the replacement for the original APC+ of several years back.
Since I had been happy with the original APC+, the new APC seemed to be a logical choice.
Since I don't use an extractor, foam or no foam was of no concern to me. The scent was also of no interest to me. The APC certainly isn't objectionable to me at the 10:1 ratio I use.
When Meguiar's came out with the APC+ available today, I was under the impression that less foaming was the only real difference between it and APC.
After reading the comments of some of the Meguiar's people that they feel the APC+ is a slightly better cleaner, it appears that the APC+ might be the better choice when I need more.
That might be a while since 11 gallons of APC mix lasts a hobby detailer quite some time.

I have both, but must say I prefer APC.

I've read from the Megs people that APC+ is supposed to be a bit stronger, but I have found that APC works better for me. I like them both and I do prefer that "just clean" smell from the APC.

How does the DA carpet brush work for you? I can't afford an extractor right now and want to know if that will help.

I realy like them both. They both have a place. If I was forced to choose only one. I would pick the apc+.

It is a brush that screws on to your DA just like a backing plate. I just used mine a few weekends ago to clean up my mats and carpets and it made quick work of it. I just sprayed some cleaner on the section to be cleaned, grabbed my DA with the carpet brush attached, worked the brush over the area for a minute or two. Vacuumed as much cleaner off as I could and then rinsed with my Little Green Machine and used the LGM to vacuum the water up. Lastly I used my Stanely Blowers to dry the carpet for a few hours (probably only needed an hour but didn't want to risk mold/mildew). Did a fine job.

In a month or two my brother and I may tackle his miny van. My nieces and nephews have made a mess of it.
