  • Diluting #00 for wetsanding?

I have picked up some 2500 grit paper along with the 2000 grit sanding block so I can touch up a deep scratch in the quarter panel of my XR4Ti.

I remember from the classes at Meguiars that they suggest using #00 as a lube for wet sanding. I have picked some up, but I am not sure what the dilution ratio should be. I'll be using a bucket to soak the paper and a spray bottle to lubricate the paper while sanding.

The Hi-Tech car wash? Maybe just the same dilution recommended on the label for car washing?

I am pretty sure it is the same as for car washing.

just a drop. It's to lube up the water in your container. Not for "use".
Use QD as your lube, UQD or soapy water in a spray bottle, again just a drop or two.
