I guess that was some heavy duty degreaser you picked up!! Things happen. You live and learn. At least it was on the frame an not on the quarter panel, hood, bumper, cowl, etc.

You have to remember my caprice car is about 18 years old. It's a wonder of the world that the original coating was still going strong.
And the degreaser was gunk gel spray. Heavy duty stuff.

I have a 2000 Buick Century and a 2002 Trans Am that needs work, the Buick has never been touched since I took owner ship in June. The T/A gets alot of attention but it is due for a full engine detail.

All Purpose Cleaner and All Purpose Cleaner +

They're the Professional Detailing line products. I'm not sure the different with the + though. In fact, I can't find it on the website anymore..

My Stores Don't carry APC, or APC+ , so can I use simple green? Do I delude it? My Trailblazer is a 2008 so it is not real dirty. What about Engine Detailing? I hear CD-2 is great. Any Meguiar's produces I don't see?

Rick over at ADS (AutoDetailingSolutions.com) has APC. He's local right off of Country Club/Arizona Ave and like Elliot I think.

As for dressing the engine... Maybe hyper dressing or all season dressing? There's a huge selection. Some even spray tire form over everything.

I'm not a professional but I spent over $500 in supplies this year - lol

I could have just dished out the money to have someone detail my car but I wanted the ability to do it on my own. I sometimes detail for friends and family but really this is mostly for myself.

I would LOVE to do this professionally but I don't have the money or experience to get started.
