62 cleans as well as NXT, leaves a gloss like GC (but does a wash NEED to leave gloss???)and rinses extremely well even if it dries on the paint. Good stuff.
Thank you for your observation on the product sir.
I don't know if it is just me, but 1oz per gallon seems like alot of soap..but thats just me. I guess it is becuase I have been using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss and it only calls for .5oz per 2 gallons
Maybe theirs is more concentrated... Maybe Meguiars is being overly safe... but it works.
Strictly a designed in dilution ratio. Most of our shampoos call for 1 oz per gallon (128:1 dilution ratio) but Hyper Wash calls for a 400:1 dilution ratio. It doesn't mean one cleans better than the other, simply the way the product is engineered, what the target market is, etc.
For the "average consumer", the guy walking into Wal-Mart who is very confused by all the car care products on the shelf in front of him, a 0.5oz per 2 gallon product would probably never be used correctly. Many, many people are of the mind that if some is good, more is better, and we wouldn't be surprised to find such a dilution ratio being ignored and overdone by the "average consumer".
Given that Chemical Guys products aren't found in your typical retail outlet, and their customer base is not the "average consumer" when it comes to car care, it's probably a non issue for them.
