    I have a 2008 black chevy cobaltss and at work the birds nailed my hood.Lucky for me I put a coat of tech wax 2.0 about 3 weeks ago.So when I got home from work I lightly with UQD got the stuff off without scratching the paint. Next I saw the paint etching in 3 different spots so I took my old trusty scratch x1.0 and it did the job quckly and easily.I gave the area a second pass just to make sure the etching was gone and victory! I love this product along with swirl x and scratch x2.0 for small corrections.Of course I then did another coat of tech wax 2.Lucky for me the car was clean when it got hit so I did not have to wash whole car again from the beginning.

    Have you tried Clay?
    Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit is the way to go.
