A friend of mine reciently purchased this 1987 porsche 944 with 180,000 miles. This car has the origional paint which was in moderate condition. There was very light oxidation, however as you can see it was a frequent client at the car wash. Step 1 was clay the car. I employed the consumer brand due to the only slight oxidation. Next I pull the car back into the shade and determine the polishing approach. I end up going with 80 on a 8006 pad and a g-100 on 4.5. I forgot to bring my painter tape, so I did it old school just to see if it was giving good results. Just as a side note, I didn't wipe the 80ed area down to well so that is why there are a few streaks in the photo. Working by the clock.
The two white spots appeared to be a chemical stain that went clear through the paint.

Following that I 80ed the rest of the vehicle. Then followed with 7 and yes there was a difference, not much but enough that it was worth the extra step. Next came good old nxt. Applied with a 9006 pad on 3. Removed with a bonnet covered 7006 pad on 5.
So here are the final results.
I really like this reflection.
