  • Claying boats?

A friend of mine has a boat made of fibreglass so he sais...
I have some meguiar's products for my car,
can I use the clay bars on this boat?
Or is there some other type of clay bar?

    Thanks

    Re: Claying boats?

Yes, you can clay the boat and use normal automotive detailing clay.

You can actually clay anything that has a smooth surface, including a glass windshield, plastic headlights, a chrome bumper or stainless steel trim etc.

Wash or wipe the boat clean and then feel the surface with your clean hand if you feel little bumps that's a sign of above surface bonded contaminants and claying should remove these things.
