Issues Uploading My Pics???

I'm trying to upload pics to the galary so I can post them with a thread. I go through the process and it shows they're uploading, but nothing shows in my uploaded pics. What am I doing wrong?

Dude, I just fought with the same issue for about 2 hours. First issue I had was my pic size, make sure yours are not larger than 1000k. Then I uploaded one at a time at first then I did 2,4, and 7. I couldn't get more than 7 at a time. I followed Mike P.'s method ( http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26526 ) where I right clicked on the photo and copied the properties into the insert picture box. Hope that helps. Don't get frustrated, you can do it. Posts are so much better with pics.

I'm about ready to chuck this laptop through the the window... It must be my files size as I'm taking these photos on a 10.5 mega pixel Nikon. I'll look at the thread you're referencing to see if I can figure it out. Many forums have auto sizing so you don't have to worry about sizing photos.

DON'T THROW IT!!!! I used one of my Microsoft programs to crop my photos down to less than 1000k. Check out the thread I just did.... it took me awhile to get it but it worked out in the end. http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33956 Also I had two Internet Explorer windows open so I could just copy the "properties" from one place on MOL into my thread. Let me know if there is anything else I could help you with.

I've never resized a photo... Wha Microsoft app did you use?

I used Photo Manager. I just cropped and then saved them. What programs do you have on your computer???? I think the thumbnail program is cool but I am not a fan of loading programs onto my computer.

I found this little handy app on-line (http://www.shrinkpictures.com/). You don't need to download it, you use it from the web and then save the resized image back to your PC. It's free as long as you don't want to re-size a batch of photos... then they "encourage" you to buy the software... I got the images uplaoded to my Gallary file. Only problem with that though is if the photos in Photobucket ever get deleted, they get deleted from your thread as well. See this thread for an example of what I mean: http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17903

Select the pic you want to upload (so it's big on your screen). Right click the image, and go down to where it says Properties. Click on that. Go to where it says Location and highlight the URL. Right click and click Copy. Now go back to your thread (it really helps to have 2 tabs open, one for your thread and one with the gallery open), select where you want your pic to go. Click on the little box at the top with the mountains and the sun in it. When the little box pops up prompting you for the URL of your image, paste the URL into the box and click OK. Voila!

Why would you delete them?
I've posted hundreds of pics and have no problem
Just post them and leave them alone
No resizing, coping properties, paste, delete, check this, check that.

Just pic your pic, copy and past the link, DONE!
