  • 2007 Mercedes ML350

So today I worked on a 2007 Mercedes ML350. Unfortunately I forgot my camera at home and wasn't able to get any before pictures, but grabbed it when I was done and got some afters.

The car was moderately dirty, but surprisingly only had very minor swirls, which were not even visible under the swirl light. The only way you could see them was in the direct reflection of sun. To add, the car was not in need of being clayed either, so I went went ahead and did some maintenance work.

    Here was my process:

    Exterior:
Wash With ONR and Body Solvent
    Wheels with ONR
Tires and Wheel wells with APC with foam sprayer
    Clayed Hood and Roof
    M20 Wax
Dressed trim and wheel wells with Hyper Dressing
Dressed tires with All Season Dressing
Cleaned windows with D Line glass Cleaner
    Quik Wheel Detailer on wheels
    Plast X on Headlights

There was also a big side swipe scratch that went along the side of the car which was about a yard long. Got it completely removed with M105 on a polishing pad.

    Interior:
    Vacuumed
    Quik Interior Detailer
    M40 on appropriate surfaces
    D Line Leather Conditioner
    Spot treatment of stains

Unfortunately I forgot to take interior pictures....

    Here are some pics. Enjoy

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

                    So you like ONR?
I would skip the Quick Wheel, I find it leaves a residue that atracts more BD. just MO.

Yep, I like it, works great with water restrictions. I was very hesitant at first, but it works pretty darn well. I think I'm still going to be doing traditional washing when at home, but using ONR if I'm mobile.

The reason I used QWD is because I forgot to dry off the wheels, so I needed to get the water spots off.

Great job, you really made that thing shine. One question, were you up in tree or something when you took that shot?
