Re: Weekend Project for My Car

      HI Guys,

I just got back from car wash.

Total Time is 8 hr 15 min

My arms falling apart. Tired, thirsty, hungry, and the most important is I am happy with the result. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

BTW, I got really really really good deal today at local walmart

I went there about 9:00 this morning to get car wash soap. I though I may go ahead get another clay kit, you know just in case. When I got check out, you will never believe how much it rang up for the clay kit, no doubt $2

Yes, that is right TWO US DOLLARS for Meguiar's Clay Kit. Therefore, I went back the shelf grab all of them. You cannot beat that $2 for quick detailer, clay, microfiber...

      What a good day...

Tomorrow I will also post the receipt from local walmart

Re: Weekend Project for My Car

Well, I checked my car this afternoon...

There still some swirls out there...Should I put more pressure on using UC and SwrilX? or Just go ahead buy a DA polisher.

If I buy a DA polisher, I may have hard time to use it at my apartment complex. Anyone got suggestion for DA user who lives in an apartment without garage?

Re: Weekend Project for My Car

MOST swirls on door panels were removed....but there still some on hool...

Should I take to a pro? or I still can do DIY work...

I am thinking to get DA, but my current situation doesn't allow me to do that.

I am living in an apartment complex, only got covered parking spot not garage. APT life sux

Is there any member around DFW, TEXAS can take look at my car???

              THANK YOU

If the only swirls left are on the hood, use SwirlX or ScatchX 2.0 with a foam applicator pad. Vut the hood in 4 or 5 sections and try and remove the swirls. Work in an area the size of a microfiber. put some passion behind the pad and do multiple applications if you need to.

Can you post a video to show me that?

Passion is just a fancy term for elbow grease. put a modrate amount of pressure with your hand when working the product in.

When trying to remove swirls and scratches by hand you have to work the product in and remove paint, which removes the swirls.
