together with a colleague, i detailed a car of a friend of ours...

finish looked and felt like sandpaper...so it actually had to be clayed 3 times and polished twice!

    recipe was as follows...

washed with Autoglym's Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
clayed using Meg's Smooth Surface Clay Kit
black parts with Meg's Gold Class Trim Detailer
    polished Autoglym's Ultra Deep Shine
    waxed Meg's Cleaner Wax
    waxed Autoglym's High Definition Wax
wheels dressed in Autoglym's Instant Tyre Dressing

    some before's

a good four hours later...50/50 in first pic...

don't know if it's ok to mention other brands on this forum...

Great work! She looks nice and wet.

It's fine to mention other brands here... just use your judgment and avoid directly trying to sell a product. Posting about using one is perfectly fine- we realize not everyone is going to use 100% Meguiar's.

            Hi,nice job you done.

I used to use autoglym years ago.Their stuff's not bad.I think meg's is better though.I used the instant tyre dressing also, and looked fine, but i found that the meg's lasts longer. The only problem i have with autog,is their product line hasn't changed much in over a decade, and their carnauba is way overpriced.
