  • Hello and greetings from The Netherlands

    Hi,

Since i've registered myself, let me introduce myself then.
My name is Arjan Kuiper, currently living in Oude Pekela, The Netherlands.
Err....or should i just say Holland?

Anyway......i'm what you could say a genuine petrolhead who just recently became interested in the detailing-scene.
Especially since i'm expecting the best of my cars, so some good products are a great investment to let the cars look at their best.

The current Meguiar's-product have already been bought:
    NXT Car Wash.
    Smooth Surface Clay Kit.
    NXT Techwax 2.0
    Ultimate Wash Mitt
    Water Magnet.

I'm not done yet purchasing the goods, so the list will still expand atm.
But tips and recommendations are always welcome ofcourse.

Now let's get to the cars, the cars currently in possession are an '85 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 and a '97 FIAT Bravo 1.4 12v.
The GTV6 has the color 907 Nero Metallizato (Black Metallic).
The Bravo has the color 483/A Blu Heraldic (Blue Metallic).

The GTV6, standing on 15" Ronal A1 wheels.

This is with the old steel wheels, it currently stands on 17" AS E 073 "Chrome" wheels.

Eddie6th, do you ever log off . I just noticed you passed me in posts and went over the 1000 mark. A remarkable feat for someone who just recently joined, and also considering most of your posts and threads are well thought out!

        Congratulations!

          Hi CC. thanks!

i've been spending most of my time studying,so i havn't had much time to do any detailing. So I study for a while, then jump on to MOL.During the day here, there's not much activity on MOL.At night/early morning is the best for me to get involved with the online discussions, because of the time differences.

          MOL at 3pm(Europe):

          It's an addictive forum!!!!

Hi Eddie, glad to be here.

Same here basically, most of them are indeed the nwer 916-series (Spider/GTV).
A shame really, because these 116-series are way more fun and better looking.
Oh well....at least i'm seeing enough old-skool GTV's on some anual events, especially since i'm a member of the dutch GTV6 Demoruns team.
The last event we had 28 GTV's together, which was a nice amount to be honest.
2010 she'll turn 25, so then it's time to make her even better then she already is.

Next year is also the centenial of Alfa Romeo, so there's a chance she'll make a trip to Italia.
Back to her birthplace so to speak.
