I am in the middle of detailing my car as I type this and I have a piece of chrome on the rear hatch that has got a few swirls in it. It isn't metal but plastic and I am unsure of what to use. I have got plastx and chrome polish and also other polishes for the paint... what do I use? Thank you.

I would tend to agree with that. It can rub off very easily. It would have to be done very gently.
