  • '56 Volvo Before and After

I picked this Volvo up a few days ago, paint was in real tough shape.

After 3 coats of Ultimate Compound on the right side:

3 coats on the front half

I think Meguiar's UC is amazing.
I still have to do 3 more coats on the rest of the car.
And some cleaner wax and glaze.
Then, I will post more pictures.

I just love working on the old cars, the single stage paint really freshens up nice. It'll look even better once you hit it with #7. Keep the pics coming

One great thing with single stage after you get a good coat of oxidation on the surface it hides a diamond in the rough to be reveled later.

              I love # 80 on old stuff.

              Nice work

                Nice work.

I love these old cars, and the SS paint.

How's the general condition of the car? I hope there's not too much rust damage.

wow UC is some serious stuff.

But out of curiosity, why not go with M105/M205?

                        He's working by hand.
If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?

                          Ah, my mistake.

Then those are some insane results for paint correction by hand.
