    2003 Ford F-150

Today I did a 2003 Ford F150. I talked on the phone with the owner three days ago regarding the condition of the vechile. According to him it was just a little dirty and has some light tar on the hood and fender flares, it was a lot worse when I saw it for myself. I had to wash this truck twice it was so dirty.

I only got about 80% percent of the swirls and scratches out. I am pretty sure M105 and the use of a rotary would have been used here if this detail was done by a pro. Looks like Ultimate Compound and my G110 would have to suffice.

    Process:

    1. Wash with NXT Generation Car Wash - X2
    2. Clay with Smooth Surface Clay Kit
    3. Ultimate Compound on a SoftBuff 2.0 Polishing Pad at speed 5 - X2 on entire truck
    4. #205 - Ultra Finishing Polishon a SoftBuff 2.0 Polishing Pad at speed 5. -X2 on hood and tailgate.
    5. NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0
    6. Ultimate Quik Wax
    7. Trim got #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner
    8. Tires got Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel
    9. Interior got All Purpose Cleaner and #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner

    Befores:

    Working shots ~50/50

    After M205:

    All Finished:

If I had trouble with this F150 today, how am I going to handle the F-650 I have to do tomorrow

Very nice turn-around. I really love the amount of gloss you brought to that paint with the M205.

Looks great man! Quick question, but what did you do for the truck bed?

I scrubbed it out with a liberal amount of APC at 4:1 and a tire brush dipped in a bucket of NXT Generation Car Wash.

Then I dressed it with M40 and an Even Coat applicator pad.

Looks good. What did you use on the running board that won't cause it to be too slick?

great work as usual. I bet the owner was floored at how great his truck looked.

That doesn't leave a slick surface? My wife's Explorer has similar running boards but I haven't found anything that won't leave it too slippery

                      Sorry for the late reply,

No, it does not leave a slick surface. I felt with my hands and through tests climbing in. Be sure to wipe off excess with a MF towel.

Good job man, that was just a little extreme huh..quite a dirty truck.

You brought it back though, and from what I understand, purple foam wool and some 105 with the G110 is a strong combo too.
