Mobil 1 only. I have tried Castrol and Valvoline's best synthetic; they both burn off faster than Mobil 1. I also use the original Slick 50 (not today's trash) which is called Lubrilon. It definitely works.
I use Castrol Synthetic in my truck. It's not necessarily my brand preference. If I get 4 oil changes done with it the 5th is free. I have an oil quality meter on my '09 GMC, I get about 6,000 miles between oil changes.
I use Mobil1 in my '80 Camaro (350 ci crate engine).
I use Bel-Ray semi-synthetic in my 2000 Suzuki Bandit 1200cc motorcycle, a full synthetic will lead to clutch slippage without upgrading the clutch springs. Too much power, too little clutch :-).
Those OCI meters are pretty accurate, but are also calibrated for conventional oil, not synthetics. If you or anyone who reads this goes for extended drains, you may want to have it actually analyzed and see what shows up since you could be draining oil that still has some life left on it. Then again, where you are located, it might be better just to change it "on time" anyways. Just blabbing out loud...

I'm not worried about it if I'm currently getting 6,000 miles and I would have traditionally been changing it at 3,000 I'm already getting double what I would have expected.
Synthetic or Dino oil aside oil filters are still oil filters and having them changed out is still beneficial.
Oil changes are the least expensive cost preventive maintenance you can do on a vehicle so I do lots of them. Most part failure is do to lack of, or breakdown of fluids. Even old nearly worn out machinery will normally keep on ticking, as long as it has fresh/full fluid, but you can take a brand new machine and kill it in no time with broken down/contaminated or low fluids.
This is why I'm not as particular about the brand as I am about the routine.
Dino oil, especially newer ones, can generally go 5,000-7,000 miles in most engines anyways. People have just always bought into the 3,000-mile OCI bit. Some cars have the change oil light or what have you in the dash, and all it does it come on after say, 5,000 miles- the "recommended" service interval. The OCI meter isn't extending the life of oil in any way...
I've used Mobil 1 in the past, but lately I've gone to Valvoline SynPower full synthetic because I can get it on sale for $3.99/quart every now and then at O'Reilly.
I used to use Mobil 1 in my Lightning, but last change I went with Royal Purple. But now the stuff is $8.99/qt at O'Reilly's, and that's just too much. Will be switching to something else.
I had Motul in my G35, but this oil is hard to get in my area. I currently have Royal Purple in the G.
In my Prelude it's just reg dino oil...same with my MPV
