  • Key differences between #9 and #82? Calling Mike!

I saw in another thread about the 4 items Mike would have for detailing at minimum.

    Clay
    #83 DACP
    #82 Swirl free polish
    NXT.

My question to Meguiars, Mike and/or the community, what are the key differences between #9 v2 and #82? They are both equated with swirl removal and I'm curious.

    thanks

#82 Swril Free Polish is a little more aggressive than #9 Swirl Remover 2.0

thanks, I was curious about the level but didn't think there could be a *whole* lot, but the clarification helps

What's best under an ultimate bonnet for removal, wool pad or 8006 polishing pad?

        Hey,

I have had the best success with the W-8006 Polishing Pad underneath the Ultimate Bonnet. You want a firm yet flexible surface for the bonnet to sit against IMHO.

Just got my pad set today and I can see that the finishing pad is just a tad softer.. so 8006 it is.. sounds like a plan.
