In the maintain your finish video, Barry mentioned something about wax build up and how it can dull the finish

WHat does he mean?, he says it near the end of the video

That just means if you use UQW over and over as a "detailer", you will get a build up which may cause streaking, hazing and dulling...

If you want to use a "detailer" we highly recommend using QD or UQD on a regular basis and then use UQW on a "as needed" basis

Nice! Great vids! I like in the Protectants video how he used the term Category Leader instead of Armor All.

Great videos! In the Protectant video....the door panel showing untreated, Natural Shine and Supreme Shine side by side can be used almost daily to answer questions on what to use. Perfect!

In the "Maintain your finish" video you guys spray on UQW and the imedeatly reomve it, however Here Mike P applies it to the entire car before removing. Is one way better that the other?

The surface prep video stopped after 1:30...however, the audio kept going.

                    Great question...

It can be applied either way. Mist on, let flash, and then wipe off. While others will use it by misting it on and then wiping it off immediately.

If you already have a good foundation of a LSP, and you are simply looking to "boost" your wax protection or Hydrophobic properties, the spray on, spread and wipe off method works pretty well!

If for some reason, your LSP is essentially gone, and your looking for best possible protection results from UQW, you will want to spray on, let flash, and then wipe off.

Keeping in mind, temperature, humidity, how much you spray on all play a roll in the "flash" time.

That video was shot in our training room with all doors shut and no a/c Trust me when I say it was pretty warm in there....and add to that the light coat that was misted on....it was pretty much flashed right away and ready to be wiped...

                    Hope this helps you

Very cool, is there a way you guys let others know that these videos are out besides here on MOL?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

Well since they are on YouTube, I'm sure other people will make their way over to see them. Maybe Meguiar's will do as someone suggested earlier and put the link on a flyer or insert.
