Re: Ferrari F40 hatch
As mentioned above, PlastX is the perfect product for that surface because it is specifically designed for "clear plastics".
As far as your question goes, a good clean foam applicator for application and a clean dry premium microfiber like our Supreme Shine for removal....The removal cloth will be your key as to not re-scratch the surface.
Do the inside and out, and let the product do the work for you...Smooth even application, and no need to let the product dry. Simply wipe it off while it is still wet.

Re: Ferrari F40 hatch
It is really up to you to determine what the situation needs... How bad is it and what are the expectations of the owner?
When you say machine, do you mean D/A or rotary ?
D/A - You could use PlastX with ease on a polishing or finishing foam pad...
Rotary - You should switch to M03 Machine Glaze and a foam polishing pad...
Least aggressive is best, so if it not that bad, you can probably work it by hand and get pretty good results !

Re: Ferrari F40 hatch
The hatch is in surprisingly good shape. Very, very minor swirling.
I assumed that it was a cover to a 478hp engine, it was durable and heat resistant.
But I didnt want to go only on assumptions....
Thanks for posting the shot of the rotary on it.
