  • compounds by hand after wetsanding?

    i just painted my stator cover and im in the process of wet sanding it now what compounds can you apply by hand to restore the gloss?

    M105 is your best bet. It is an aggressive compound that leaves a very high gloss (for a compound it is unheard of!).

      how about on the consumer line? i believe, 105 is prof line. (please correct me if i am wrong)

        Some has had success removing ultra-fine wetsanding marks using Ultimate Compound. We are talking about 2000 grit and higher.

          You will want to get to the finest grit paper you can.

          Then #105. That is stronger than the Consumer products. If you get good results, and that is an if, you might follow up the #105 with SwirlX.
