Since my car is winterized it is topped with tech wax 2x and my topper of #16. Will using the nxt spray help after washing. I wont be waxing until winter is done.

I have not used the NXT Spray Wax over a car with the #16 applied to it. I think there is something to having real-live experience with the products you are talking about and while I have used NXT Spray Wax over NXT Tech Wax, I have never used it over a car with the #16 Professional Paste Wax.
It won't hurt the finish, and from my experience with NXT Spray Wax, as long as you have been maintaining the finish with a normal coat of wax, both the Meguiar's automotive spray waxes will enhance the gloss, clarity, depth and shine if applied after first washing the car.
I would highly recommend either of the spray waxes for use after washing and in-between regular waxing. Use one of the methods I describe here,
