Meguiars Odor Eliminator should get rid of the smell , spray plenty of the stuff in the interior,also on the fabrics,seats and keep the doors closed for atleast 12 hours !!!
Thats how i do it and it always works !!

A bottle of the Odor Eliminator worked for me in my 2001 Neon, after a thorough cleaning.

Cheap and effective solution.

Put several half cut apples inside the car and let it sleep there.
And like that the odor is gone.

But if the odor is bonded to the carpet it will not work.

I love the Odor Eliminator too, it really gets rid of virtually any bad smell with a few sprays.

If it isn't in the fabric and is just in the air go ahead and use a quick spray of Ozium, it doesn't smell so good initially but it dissipates and takes every other smell with it. It makes it smell of absolutely nothing.
