Pictures from August 8th, 2009 - Saturday Open Class
Re: Pictures from August 8th, 2009 - Saturday Open Class
What a great class - thank to everyone for coming out and for you high level of enthusiasm throughout the day!
This is what we were up against on the test vehicle - swirls on one half of the hood....
....rotary holograms on the other side.
A quick claying to remove bonded surface contaminants....
.... and then some hand applied Ultimate Compound to get started.
Some G110 application of Ultimate Compound....
..... and it's time to head back outside to inspect the work.
Back inside to apply some NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0
Now it's the car owner's turn. Put that pad down on the paint before you turn the G110 on!
Oops!
Let's change that to "put that pad firmly down on the paint before you turn the G110 on!"
Now he's got it!
Then other's got a chance to see just how easy it is to use the G110.
We also threw in a little hydrophobic polymer demo using nothing more than Ultimate Quik Wax. Half the panel was given a couple quick coats of UQW and you can plainly see how much deeper and richer the treated side of the panel is.
And water won't even flow onto the treated area - it runs runs off at an angle right at the edge of the treated section.

These classes are great! I wish I was nearby!
What I find amazing is this part of the Meguiar's company. I know of no other carcare company which takes time to teach their customers how to use products and power tools correctly.

Thanks so much for dedicating your saturday to teaching us about car care. It was a great class and a true learning experience. I'm not aware of another company that is willing to spend so much time with their customers and it's awesome! Looking forward to attending a Thursday night! Thanks again.

Thanks Mike and Mike and Andrew for hosting us and teaching a great class. I can truly say that my number went from a 20 to about a 50!! Am picking up the DA this week and can't wait to start using it.
BTW_ Mike when you saw the scratches on my silver civic(on the doors) do you think those are repairable? Or are they too badly damaged? I forgot to ask before I left.
