    I just painted a 29 Mercedes kit car--with acrylic enamel with harder in it that was what the man wanted on it-----I want to know how long do I have to wait before I can but some wax on it and what I need to uses.

    60-90 days
    was it baked ?
    you can polish after a week but no wax or sealent 60-90 days

      Isn't the standard 60-90 days to let the fresh paint gas out?

      I believe that M80 can be used on fresh paint as I had a respray done in late 2008 and remember that was an option. I'd stick to a DA though, rotary might be too aggressive even with M80.

        Yes...Let the solvents evaporate.

        Polishing is okay.Shyneman will help you out with that.
