Does the information provided in the chart hold true for the v2 of the polisher?

Yes, all settings remain the same as general guidelines with the G110v2

Why is 21 listed as a pure wax and NXT a polish wax? I thought the two were similar? Are there no polishing oils in 21?

I have two brand new pads with the V2, the 8207 and the 9207. Whenever you apply a product that calls for a certain pad, should you also use the same # pad to remove it afterwards? Do I need to order another set so that one can be used for applying and one for removal?

The pads are designed for application of product, which is why they vary in cut just as do the various products. Once a product has been applied and worked in (in the case of polishes, cleaners, compounds) you should immediately wipe off with a clean microfiber towel. Once a wax or sealant has been applied with the proper pad you let it dry completely and then wipe off with a clean microfiber towel. Some people like to remove waxes/sealants with a microfiber bonnet wrapped over a foam cutting pad (the firmer pad gives more support) while others find this process more work than simply wiping off by hand with a good microfiber towel. But you never use just a bare pad for product removal.

For more information on how pad selection impacts the total cut of a product or process, see Let's talk about "Total Cut"

I'm confused on what you mean by removing product with a pad....

As far as I know I only use pads to apply product. The only except is wax, which you use a cutting pad because it's stiffer which works better when covered by a bonnet

See I've learned something already. I didn't know that the DA was for applying only. That's cool. I just want to make sure I use the DA correctly. THANKS!

This is actually fairly common misconception, and we get plenty of calls from people asking about this very thing.

When you think about how a paint cleaner works - an abrasive particle suspended in a liquid that needs to be physically worked against the paint in order to remove below surface defects - you can see that using the tool to apply the product and physically work it is the way to go. It takes virtually all the elbow grease, all the hard work, out of the process. The wipe off is the easy part!!

I am going to purchase the g 110 polisher for my own black truck and a few other family cars. From what i have read the smooth pads work better with diminishing abrasives,In removing swirl marks would the 7 inch Maguairs smooth pad be ok or should I be looking at 5.5 to 6.5 inch pads ?

If you purchase a new G110v2, then you will want the new SoftBuf 2.0 (7" diameter) pads. The included backing plate that will come with your new G110v2 will be the W68DA, designed to optimize the Softbuf 2.0 pads. Easy centering and machine-washable make these pads favorable, as well as the extra 1/2" of foam between the edge of the pad and the rim of the backing plate.

I just bought a new g110v2 and it recommended using 8207. With the 8207, how will it affect the usage of polish and waxes? Will the cheat sheet on this thread still be applicable?
