Pictures from October 3rd, 2009 - Saturday Open Class
Re: Pictures from October 3rd, 2009 - Saturday Open Class
Glad you had a good time, Eric, and that you learned a thing or two!
Here are some more pictures from yesterday's class - sorry though, nobody caught your attempt at covering the garage with Ultimate Compound though!
Ultimate Compound by hand..
Hey, look - single stage black on a 10 year old truck!
We follow up the Ultimate Compound with a coat of NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0
Now on to G110 application of Ultimate Compound
A little "how to clean your pad on the fly"
Now that's a thin coat of wax!
The whole group inspects the end result inside the garage....
Once out in the sun we see the swirls are gone, the water spots are gone and the paint looks blacker and richer. All that pitting is unfortunate, but 10 years of exposure takes its toll on a vehicle!
Jae takes a turn at the G110; it is his truck, after all!
Eric gives the G110 a shot too.
In the meantime Andy cleans up the back of his guitar with some M105 applied by hand.
Before....
...After.

Wow that is amazing how well the guitar cleaned up!
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like. I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.
