  • Bitter Sweet Week At HERSHEY PA.

This week was the Huge Antique Auto Show at HERSHEY PA.Where Car collectors from all over the world come for a peak at some truly Classic Vehicles of our past. Three of the Projects I worked on this past year are off to new homes. At least I will have the pictures and memories of the enjoyment I had working on them.

The first to go was the 1925 Pierce Arrow Oprah Coupe
It is bound for a new home in Poland

The second and hardest to see go was the 1929 Pierce Arrow Model 133
Over my 30 year Detailing career This is my Favorite and at least I wont have to far to go to see it, Its new home is In Texas.

And lastly the 1963 VW Bettle is bound for a boat ride across the pond to France.

Thanks for sharing. I can see why the second one was your favorite! The bettle was a favorite of mine. My grandfather owned 3 bettles '68 a '72 and a '74. The '74 was my first car.

Awesome cars you had the privilege of working on. I can see how it is a bittersweet time for you.

One good thing the owner of the Pierce Arrows no has a full wallet to go buy some more little bits of history for me to polish on

Spent Saturday at the Temecula Rod Run. Over 700 cars 74 or older....but a few new ones did sneak in. I was sad not to see a Meguiar's booth there. Especially since it's not that far from HQ.

Awesome, Shyne. What a testament to your work. I LOVE the Beetle. Congrats.

Those Pierce Arrows are fantastic works of art. The way the headlights are molded into the front fenders are stunning. I love those cars from the late 20's early 30's, just the styling and body lines, I could look at that those cars all day long.

Bittersweet indeed, Frank, but beautiful work all around. You didn't by chance leave a business card under a seat or something did you?

I did get to meet the new owners and that was pretty kool just wish I was multilingual LOL

I told the new owner of the 29 Black Pierce that it came with a protection warranty.

All he had to do was send me a weekly photo with the Pierce and the days news paper and as long as it was in great shape I would not hunt him down and hurt him.
