It is quite similar, using the same encapsulating technology, but the scent is different.

Close, just with a minor tweak here and there. The scent is a big improvement, as is the packaging, sprayer, etc.

Yes, that's exactly how you use it. It actually encapsulates odors on a molecular level and will eliminate them. It's not just a pretty perfume that covers odors temporarily.

I can attest to this; with four or five liberal sprays of the old formula in each one I made the rankest pair of sneakers to ever walk the face of this earth almost odor free! If this formula is the same or even better then it does possess some serious odor eating powers! Most of the odors are simply trapped in the fibers of the carpet/cloth seat, not the air; so they are easily treated with this product.
