I bought the U.P. and new UIQD. Applied the UP to my truck's trim. So far looks good. The only concern I have is that I think you have to use quite a bit of product to get the look you want. Very thick consistency, nothing like ASD.
Did you apply it with a foam applicator or something else?

Based on the tests that Meguiar's did while developing the product, you'll be waiting a long time. The pictures posted of the cladding on a Jeep Grand Cherokee looked stunning after more than 2 months.

see i am having a problem with UP, i put it on the pillars in between the doors and on my trim around my windows and whenever it rained or like today snowed it streaked off and got on my car and windows and sometimes when i put it on it streaks, before applying UP i cleaned with #40 and i have #39 ordered and on the way, why do you think this happened?, i was told that it might have been to cold outside when i put UP on so it didnt set up right or do u think the areas werent cleaned well enough before i out on my UP or both??

            Re: Ultimate Protectant

It might have been too cold when you applied it as temperatures much below 50F can cause some unusual behaviors with different products. It might also be that your pillars and window trim are too hard and non porous and therefore not a great match for the product. UP does work best on textured vinyl surfaces rather than the harder, smoother surfaces.

Another thing to consider: we have seen some instances where another polymer product, including UQW and, to a lesser degree, UQD, having been previously applied can can sometimes cause an issue. More so with the UQW because it is surprisingly tenacious. Talk about a spray wax that really sticks around!

the UQW might have gotten on there while waxing the car, well ill see what happens after i clean it with some #39 and when the warmer weather comes, after the snow today some of the UP was on the pillar and dry and it other places it wasnt

I waited so long for this product to be released on my local stores. In the process, I purchased three bottles of Gold Class Trim Detailer for $4.99 each. It's a great product, and must have for the exterior plastics and window seals.

My guess is you'll be able to find it there within a month or so. Just have to wait on a site to get them in stock and then list it on Amazon for sale. Stores are slowly starting to put it out on the shelf. I have noticed many stores marking down the older products to make room for the new first.

Just bought a bottle at Advanced Auto Parts this morning. Was located on the very top shelf without any price or tag underneath it so maybe they're just getting it. Also saw where the new Wash and Wax should be, but looked like it was either already sold out or just not put on the shelves yet. This was in Austin, TX if it matters.

I apologize in advance if this has been asked,

Does UP work on NON-porous and NON-textured trim?

                                Thanks,
