I recall voting for blue graphics. Oh well. It'd be great to see this in 32oz and 128oz bottles.

          Re: Quik Interior Detailer

I have just used up in QID that I purchased in 2007. I never used the newer version.

I am also interested to know if it basically has no sheen like the 2007 version. It would be interesting to know what the equivalent APC dilution is...my guess 1:25 to 1:20 since I am tempted just to refill the bottle with 1:20 APC since I use it more as a light cleaning (a more cost effective 1Z Cockpit Premium).

If I need real cleaning, I use will get out the more powerful stuff.

As long as the scent and the level of shine is the same as the 2007 formula. I will be a happy camper

Aroma and appearance are unchanged, only the cleaning ability has been enhanced. If you're in need of a heavy duty cleaner, then APC is probably a better bet, but for routine cleaning and the occasional spill/stain/etc it does a fantastic job.

                  Hey Mike!

Is the new bottle a better quality plastic like the one found in Quik Out? I´ve always heard comments from clients that the old QID bottles were too brittle...

                  Thanks,

Not only is the bottle an upgrade, but does that sprayer look familiar? Yep, it's the same one used in our Mirror Glaze products such as M3416 Final Inspection and M4016 Professional Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner!

If used for light cleaning/dusting etc. on a dash or vinyl that already has say Ultimate Protectant on it will it remove it?

I knew it looked familiar! hahaha! Sweet those sprayers are perfect!

Speaking of M40, this improved cleaning ability...are we talking somewhere along the lines of M40's cleaning ability or a little less?

While it may remove some, depending on how much QID you use and how aggressively you work it, UP is pretty tenacious stuff and shouldn't just come off with a light dusting. If you use QID on your interior in much the same way you use UQD on your paint (essentially just a light mist and wipe) you should be fine. If you soak an area and then scrub it clean, you'll most likely remove the majority of UP on that area.

Good question, and one that we can't answer at this moment. Experience says probably not to quite that level, but give us a bit to confirm that.

I hope that by betting cleaning action it isn't too harmful???

I basically use QID for dusting and don't really need much cleaning ability at all.

Same here, I only use it for light dusting and light cleaning. I think Mike stated earlier in the thread the APC would still be a stronger cleaner, I would imagine it would depend on the dilution as well.
