Besides the new bottle design and graphics is it pretty much the same?

This may sound really strange, but can you use this on say a leather coat? I have been looking for something like a leather cleaner/conditioner for my leather coat for years! They do not make mink oil anymore. As far as I know. And was wanting to know of it might work.

Sleepy, not to take away from Megs but try Leather CPR on a coat. You will _really_ like the feel afterwards. I've used both and I prefer Leather CPR for clothing. I like Megs for it's cleaning ability on my couches.

Easiest place to find Leather CPR is Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

I have used the Meguairs spray on my coat, which is in good shape to start with, and the results were ok. Nothing great, nothing bad. Looked good, and I'll assume moisturized.

Re: Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner - Conditioner

Something to consider if you're planning on using any of our leather products outside the car:

Automotive leather is finished differently than leather furniture, clothing, handbags and other accessories. While, in theory, Meguiar's leather products are perfectly safe on these items we have seen cases of it darkening the finish. This is most common on natural finish leathers rather than darker, dyed leathers. It's not real common, but it may not be the look you're after on those natural leather finishes. Test in an inconspicuous area, yadda yadda yadda.
