Have you found that Ford and Imports Buff up nicer ?
Do you ever mist over compound ?
Hey Frank,
It depends on the import and the year of Ford. I have found that some of the Fords have really hard paint while others are not that bad. Same for imports, some are brutally hard depending on make while others are so soft that breathing on them creates swirls!
I used to mist the pad with water many years ago with the older products, like M04 etc, but not now. If it is humid, I may add some M34 to the pad to increase buffing time, but generally, the days of using water to increase the cut is pretty much gone with the new SMAT's and modern Diminishing Abrasives....

Why such slow speeds with the 105 and 80 steps? By the looks of the vehicle (Great Job!!!), I might need to slow down my machine.
With 105 just trying to give it more work time and with 80 you can bump it up a notch or two but I like the look of the tight pattern and results and at my age I am not in a hurry anymore.
