I read on AGO that this new version (seen above) of QID has improved cleaning ability and is now antibacterial. Is this true? Hope it is.

I hope it is not antibacterial. With all the antibacterial soaps, cleaners, hand sanitizers, we pretty soon will be living in a bubble.

I'm scared it's going to have too much cleaning power, I mean antibacterial? Good for rental car not my car.

I just use QID for dusting.

Sanitize the interior of your car every time? Really? Seems a bit overboard IMO, and I'm sure others agree whether they say it or not.

While there is an antimicrobial component to the new version of QID it is not to be confused with a heavy duty, all powerful germ killing disinfectant. It is NOT that type of product. If you've used and loved QID in the past, you will continue to do so in the future. If that use was just for light dusting without adding gloss, it will continue to do just that for you. If you've used it to clean up some dried up spills and though it was good but could use a bit more punch, now it has it for when you need it.
