I'll have to double check my notes, but I"m pretty sure it's a very different towel.

Hmmm, I thought that was the Absorber that came in the clear plastic tube?

The absorber does come in a clear plastic tube. However, I think the new version dry's soft instead of like a brick.

Meguiar's new Microfiber Quik Detailing pads are reusable. Simply wash as normal with your other microfiber polishing cloths.

I need to add that to my must-have list too. The MF Drying Towel is pretty good too, but I want to try the latest and greatest!

Next up, time to test out Meguiar's new Versa-Angle Wide Body Brush on Jirawan's Mini Cooper.

After washing and drying we clayed and then applied some NXT Tech Wax,

Here's a couple of after shots...

Look how wet the paint looks from this angle,

                      Mike,
Was it my imagination, or was there also a Meguiars Car Duster at the preview??

Hey, is my post count stuck on 163?

                        Hey Newport--

Yeah I remember that too--I was sitting right behind it--but I can't remember what it looked like!

Is there an advantage to using the body brush over a wash mit? Which cleans better, faster, less wear on paint?

I think that advantage was that the body brush more readily picked up particles and dispensed them than a wash mitt could, where as a mitt picks up all kinds of stuff, and you have to work them out to remove them. The brush is also really soft. You wouldn't think it just by looking at it--but when you feel the brush, it's feels like a very soft cloth.

Yes, you can reach all areas of the car better without bumping into it, which could cause scratches. This is especially true for truck and SUV detailers.

In the winter, you won't freeze your hands when using a brush.

A brush can cover a larger area, saving time.

A good brush WILL NOT scratch paint! But until now, good car wash brushes were extremely hard to find! In recent years, car wash brushes got a bad reputation because the cheap ones you buy at Wal Mart, etc. would scratch the paint.

This may turn out to be one of the best car detailing accessories for 2005!
