    First time using the cutting&polishing pad

    Hi..Need advice.
    My cutting&polishing pads just arrived..The sales rep told me to soak the cutting pad for a few minutes and dry with the rotary. I never heard of this before.
    Does this apply to the polishing pad and finishing pad as well? What is proper use of the pad for the first time? Or I can tear off the plastic bag and use it right away?

    Hi Tanat198,

    If you're talking about a Meguiar's foam pad, then I'm not sure why the Sales Rep would say such a thing. For the record, Meguiar's doesn't recommend soaking any of our pads in water or anything else before using them.
