  • Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax question

I often use Ultimate Quik Detailer to clean my car... I would like to use the Ultimate Quik Wax product, my question is this, if the car is lightly dirty, can I clean it with the detailer first, then do the Quik Wax? And if so do I need to wait for the Quik Detailer to cure first? (I know it mentions 12 hours on the instructions)

    Thanks in advance,

    Yes and no.

Yes, you can wipe the car down first with UQD to clean off the light dust prior to applying UQW.

No, you don't have to wait for any sort of cure time between the two products. Ultimately, any benefit you're going to gain from UQW far outweighs anything you would gain from waiting 12 hours for UQD to "cure". Having said that, you could use regular QD (in the red bottle) or Last Touch as an alternative to UQD here.
