  • 105 205 ?

I use both 105 and 205 on my vehicles and I just got my first complaint and I was wondering if anyone else has got this from others. The customer said after it rains that there is a film on the vehicle. He said that I need to maybe wipe off the last stage before I wax it better. I have never seen this on any of my vehicles or the hundreds of other cars that has been through here. Any thoughts anyone?!?!

Have you seen this film that your customer is describing? That combo should not leave behind a film. If you do not wipe off all the excess product it will be visible before you go to apply your LSP and the rain shouldn't make a film appear. What are you using for your LSP?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

How long ago was the detail done?

And the film would most likely involve the wax, but still, what kind of film...

The film may even be from the rain and any constaminants that land in the water and dry. I have seen this happen to my vehicle every time it rains.

Yeah sorry guys been busy! I never got to see the vehicle and never have seen anything like this what he was describing so... So I hate to say but I don't use the Meguiars sealant had to cut on some costs somewhere lol.. But I have been using this sealant for over 3 years now so I don't get it maybe it was just the customer not knowing what they were talking about... Except the customer is always right..lol
