  • Meguiar's Shows off the Passion!

We thought we'd share something special that happened at work today. Meguiar's is being visited by some very special folks from 3M and we wanted to demonstrate our passion for the car hobby, and for what we do every day. What better way than with a car show!

So, we parked one of our big rigs in the company parking lot, blew up some of our product balloons, and rallied a bunch of the coolest employee rides and did just that - a Meguiar's Employee Car Show!! For those of you who have never been to a large event where we display one of these rigs, this is pretty much what we do day in and day out all year long. Just not normally in our own parking lot!!

We'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

It should be noted that our Special Events Team put the show together, and getting the truck, awnings, product tables, balloons and everything else set up took 7 people about 15 hours to accomplish. That, friends, is a LOT of work!!

Very cool. I'd have to say Mike P's car was the coolest out of all of them in the pictures.

Talk about passion, I love seeing employees that live and breathe what they sell - it really says something about the product!

Those cars would make anyone proud - and I need one of those big bottles of detailer - that might last me all summer! I just love Meguiars!

That looks like great fun. Employees showing off their cars at the work place. I like!! Who's the owner of the green colored car? ....

Anyhow, thanks for the great share Mike. I want to work there!

You guys are amazing. It's exactly the passion that those pictures show what I like the most about Meguiar's. I think that many of us are worried about that passion getting diluted in a large corporation like 3M. I hope that they'll understand that Meg's all about being car crazy and about a hobby, and that they'll respect the brand to let it exist as it is.

Willing to relocate for a job at Meg's!

Mike, is there any news as to whether 3M is working on solutions to defect removal in their Scotchguard paint protection film? Just curious.

You'd have to contact 3M about that. We truly are a separate entity so we don't know everything they're doing, and we're working on some cool stuff that they won't have either.

Gotcha! I have spoken to them before but the customer service reps really didn't have a positive answer.
