WHILE USING THE 2 MONTH OLD MACHINE THE BACKING PLATE BECAME DETACHED FROM THE STEEL CENTER HUB WHERE IT IS RIVITED TO THE CENTER OF THE BACKING PLATE ITSELF! HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS OR HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM EVER . HELP PLEASE

for a replacement

Since your machine and backing plate is only 2 months old. Give customer care a call. They should be able to help you out.quality creates its own demandComment

Is it true that they are in the process of retooling the attachment of the steel anchoring to the rubber, I have heard that this is the case from a friend of mine I spoke to last night ! If this is true how would I go about getting the upgraded one when it does come out! Thanks for your HelpComment

this happened to me my second time using it, i contacted meguiars and they sent me a new one right away. Now the new backing plate they sent me wont stick to the pads so i have to stop it and re-adjust it every minute...its crazy annoying...Comment
