  • Magic Erase pet hair on carpet

You have to try this! I have a Keeshond with long hair, and when I vacuum I spend half my time pulling the hair out of my vacuum brush.

You can use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or Scotch Brite also makes one with half-sponge half eraser.

Just get it wet with water, rub it over the carpet, and pull off any pet hair (and it picks up some other gunk too) from the eraser, and keep going. Re-wet it as needed. It actually kind of cleans the surface of the carpet too.

I know Mr. Clean makes a Magic Eraser Floor mop, but I haven't been able to find it.

But for pet hair in the car, this is just perfect and so easy to do.

A pumice stone, the thing you remove dry skin from feet with, works great for removing pet hair.
