    new to da polishing

Hi all Just got my father's day present a porter cable 7427xp .I have some minor swirls in my Intense Blue Dodge Ram ,I was thinking about using the soft buff 2.0 polishing pad with swirl x but I'm not sure how much pressure to use . Isaw on one web vid that they used 10 to 15 lbs to polish ( I was thinking about setting everything up and pushing on the bathroom scale to get a feel for it).

    Thanks in advance

Thats a good idea about the bathroom scale. It should help you know how many pounds of pressure your applying. Also keep in mind that the polisher itself weights arround 8 or 9 pounds.

SwirlX will do the job if they are some minor swirls, but if they are deep in the CC go to UC

Good luck with the pc. 15 pounds is all that is needed.
