50/50 pic Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish

Here's a 50/50 pic of me practicing with some of the metal polishes (on 22 gauge sheet metal).
I just used a cotton terry cloth. It probably took me about 5-10 minutes to get the 4" by 6" square looking like this.

I tried All Metal Polysh and Hot Rims Chrome Polish at first, but the Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum polish seemed to work best for this application. It smelled real nice too (kind of like Big Red chewing gum).

I recently used Mother's Billet Polish and had spectacular results on my Centerline Convo Pro's. Your shot is definitly dramatic!!

Yes it is rust. In the darker spots (pits), the rust was quite thick and well bonded.

I'm glad you guys liked the photo, the rust plays well with the flames on the product packaging.

Look into some #0000 steel wool also. Might not be good on a show car metal, but for anything everyday, like a basic exhaust, it is great to apply with.

Glad the pic helped. Being your side pipes are so exposed, you may also want to pick up so NXT All Metal Polysh. In my experience, it finishes down to a smoother finish.

I believe the Nxt Metal Polish was being discontinued, but the Marine line is close to it.
