    i got a 03 tacoma and my chrome grill was scuffed by my hose while i was washing my engine bay. how can i remove it without scraping off the chrome??

    Hey,

    From my experience, that is a tough one. First, most of the "chrome" grills on newer vehicles are chrome plated plastic. As such, they can not be treated like real chrome, IMHO. I would suggest trying Meguiar's PlastX. I would test the product in a hidden area first to make sure that your chrome grill does not haze easily from polishing. Make sure to work the PlastX until it virtually turns to an almost clear state and then remove.

    BE CAREFUL! As I said, some of these grills are really soft material. Again, always test in a hidden area first.
