    Detailer Line- Dilution Ratio List

I know people are usually asking, "What ratio do I dilute _____ to?" "What do I use _____ for?" Here is a list of all the dilutable Detailer Line products, in one spot, with their main uses and recommended dilution ratios. Hope this helps everyone!

    APC/APC+

APC+ is the better of the two for interior/extraction jobs on carpets, leather and upholstery as it is low foaming and has a more "friendly" scent.

Main uses: wheels, tires, engines, interior surfaces and upholstery, exterior trim...

    4:1 for heavy duty cleaning
    10:1 for light duty cleaning

    Super Degreaser
    Main uses: tires, engines...

    4:1 for heavy duty degreasing
    10:1 for light duty degreasing

    Glass Cleaner Concentrate
    Main uses: windows...

    10:1

    Wheel Brightener

Main uses: clear coated, factory painted and chrome wheels...

    4:1

    Last Touch
Main uses: spray and wipe detailer, clay lubricant...

    Ready to Use for QD'ing
    1:1 for claying

    Hyper Dressing
Main uses: exterior trim, tires, engines, wheel wells, interior surfaces...

    1:1 for high gloss
    2:1 for medium gloss
    3:1 for satin finish
    4:1 for natural finish

    Water Based Dressing
Main uses: exterior trim, tires, engines, wheel wells, interior surfaces...

Ready to use for high gloss
    1:1 for natural finish

    Hyper Wash
    Main uses: vehicle paint...

    400:1

    Other Notes:
All other Detailer Line products are RTU. All other Detailer Line wash soaps are the usual 1 oz. to 1 gallon of water.

For those of you who are a little bit confused when filling Detailer Line Bottles, here is a little bit of help.

First fill the bottle up with water to your desired ratio.

    example:

If you want a 4:1 ratio, fill the bottle with water to the 4:1 mark.
After the water is at the 4:1 mark, then add product (in this case All Purpose Cleaner) to the red line.

Do not fill the bottle to the top or else the ratio will not work.

There is no writing, or red line on the back of the bottle. Simply fill it to the single ridge.

I hope this helps a few people out. I know I was uncertain. I did some testing today to make sure this is accurate.

Here is a link to a thread specifically about filling the bottles. If you need more detail.

This is a great little reference tool Tyler, thanks for putting it together. We're making it a sticky, too, so it's easy to find for future users.

You're welcome roushstage2, congrats on the sticky. I like how you used the colors in the wording

Beyond the Meguiar's suggested ratios. I think it would be nice to continue with custom ratios and uses.

eg. I know a lot of members wash pads with APC. Some use it with during the car wash process to aid in wax removal.

I literally got my Jug of Hyper Dressing and the funny thing is the pic online looks like a dull grey, but it is really more like Cyan lol.
