  • Wetsanding Question

    Hey everybody,
I'm going to be practicing wet sanding this weekend and I was wondering if M105 and a polishing pad can get rid of 2000 grit sanding marks. I'm gonna be using a simoniz rotary and 3m sand paper. Thanks

Most likely not, but as you know there are lots of variables...

As you stated, you will be practicing, so try it and use it as a learning experiance along with other pads.

Make sure and keep the paper clean at all times and use good technique !

Let us know how it goes

It will be a lot easier, faster, and IMO, safer to use a wool pad like the W5000 or Maroon Solo cutting pad.

Foam generate too much heat and I don't like using them to remove sanding scratches.

I agree, stick with a wool pad to remove sanding marks.
